RPR July 2014 payment

Hi all,
If I were to book a night at RPR for next July through Loews website (price in $s), and pay with a debit card...do they take the money out straight away or do you not pay until you actually go?
Thanks all
xxx

For a one night stay you pay in full at the time of booking (all bookings pay a 1 night deposit)

Is it much cheaper going direct? You would normally pay balance in full for 1 night

I've already booked for £218 but Loews website showing $304 which I think works out about just below £200 with exchange rate just now.

Think there's tax to add to that?

It apears to be so - although I guess it depends on the number of nights and when exactly during the week and year. For example, we are looking for three nights in August next year. The best price I can find (for a water view) is £542 over here. However, going direct it will cost $857.61 which works out at about £550. As far as I can see that's all in.

As has been said a deposit is required, but I'm assuming this will be refunded if a cancellation occurs before the date they specify (which is a couple of weeks before the first night from memory). This suggests the balance doesn't need to be paid until the end of the stay?
