So I've spent the entire afternoon doing the contents of all bags numbered 2. Boy! This was a fiddly part of the build. You are constructing the marquee in the main.

But first, some additional bits inside. Counter top and drinks dispensers:

Not sure if these are meant to be pancakes or burgers:

The back door gets an overhead light:

Posters appear on the walls:

A new character - a server on roller skates joins the staff:

A flight of stairs complete with lamp leads upstairs:

These were the fiddly bits I referred to earlier - they wrap right around the building (love the colours):

View from the front ( the apartments have yet to go on top ):

Note the "red" mail box and the parking meter.

Another front view where you can see inside (great window shape):

Open for business:

Geoff. I must say this is really a nice model. My goodness those are some pancakes! One couldn't eat for a week after them
Love the retro style of this but as you say a bit fiddly. Also some nice touches such as the roller skates.
However the windows are what makes it so cool.
Coming along nicely, well done.

I love the posters on the diner wall, they remind me of Hamilton (though I’m sure they’re meant to be more Hollywood Walk of Fame!)
The pancakes, drinks dispensers and lighting are all gorgeous too. Lego continues to amaze me!

Actually, Jenny, thinking about it, a mailbox should be blue so I'm now thinking its one of those newspaper vending things.
