Mobile Planning suggestions please

As it stands I’m looking to fly out on the 1st October next year. For 18 nights.

The plan we have at the moment is:

10 nights port Orleans riverside
2 nights hard rock
3 nights somewhere
3 night cruise
Home

The three nights somewhere is what’s up for debate at the moment. I think we want to do Busch gardens so maybe somewhere down the west coast. Maybe Clearwater or further south

Can anyone suggest somewhere?
Is it warm enough at that time of year to be guaranteed beach time and warm enough to go swimming in the sea?

Any other ideas for what to do for three nights would be great.

Given the time lost switching hotels, travelling to cruise, personally I’d just extend POR and HRH and get my monies worth out of the tickets.

We just spent 4 nights at the end of September in Clearwater. It didn’t even cross my mind if it would be warm enough or not. It was boiling!
I don’t think I could do 4 ‘locations’ in 18 nights. We did 3 in 21 nights and we all said we were happy with that. We did:
7 nights at Aventura
4 nights at Clearwater
10 nights in a villa near Disney

Have you done a three night cruise before? I’ve looked into this and decided it wouldn’t be good for us. Too stressful, too rushed. The day you embark is pretty much ‘lost’ to procedure. Then you’ll be getting two full days / nights - what ship are you thinking of getting on? If it’s a big ship you likely won’t be able to get round to seeing everything. Will you be getting off in port? On the day you disembark you will have breakfast and be off the ship straight after.

Don’t forget about how long it will take you to drive to these different locations, wait to check in, etc etc.
