I know there are so many hotels out there that its difficult to choose one.
So can i ask for your help.
We're hopefully going next Sept, 2 adults and 1 child who will be nearly 4 then.
We can't really afford a WDW hotel so something thats cheaper but equally as nice.
Somewhere nr all the action but not noisy. Doesn't necessarily have to have loads for the kids as we won't be there that much but would like a nice plush room.
Any help appreciated

Have you thought about an apartment rather than a hotel bedroom - especially with children? We stayed at Cypress Pointe in LBV last year and were VERY impressed. Great location - lovely 1/2/3 bedroom suites with separate lounge and kitchen facilities - huge fridge for all those cold drinks etc. Three pools and a small shop on site. Very clean and we would definitely go there again.

Don't be so sure you can't afford Disney hotels. The All Stars and Pop Century resorts are keenly priced and of reasonable quality. Being on site with such a young child would just add to the magic!

My Travel and First Choice have great prices in September...check their websites.

I have booked with Portland Direct (part of Thomson) for 2 adults and 1 child for 14 nights at Pop Century for £1728 (Sept 06). No car included, we never bother when staying onsite we use Mears transport to get to Seaworld and Universal. Our DD will be 5 when we go and I think that staying onsite will be handy if she gets tired you can pop back and fore to the parks.
I also get very excited staying onsite!

Don't think WDW hotels aren't affordable. Our 2 weeks this October at AMSo is costing less than we paid for the Comfort Inn last year. We didn't think we could ever afford to stay at Disney either and it would be so much easier staying onsite with a young child.

We stay at the Marriott Village in Lake Buena Vista. You can use facilities at all 3 hotels - check marriottvillage. I can highly recommend them.

Cath

We are staying at the Embassy Suites LBV. We are going with our 2 children and wanted the ability to relax in the room when they had gone to bed without having to creep around scared to wake them up. Here's a link to the website. embassysuiteslbv/ We booked via Virgin.
