Can 2 people use the same iTunes account?

We both currently have android phones but are thinking of changing to Apple when our contracts end next month. I have an iTunes account, can both phones be used via the same account but be kept separate if that makes sense.

The best option is to have 2 iTunes accounts and link them with family sharing.

If you share an AppleId you can have issues with messages going to the wrong phone.

We share an iTunes account, we get the odd problem when changing phones but other than that it works well.

No but it’s easy to set up a new email and then forward everything from it to your main one.

I have an iTunes account but we have two iTune libraries. I or DH can download any music that either of us have bought or not as bought stuff is in the Cloud so can be downloaded to go onto your iPod or not. I don't want his punk era stuff and he doesn't want my Country music stuff so we do or do not download it to our respective library. When you plug your iPod in it should come up with the name of the iPod and just show that iPods library.

We share an iTunes account and it’s simple and straightforward. The only think is only one of us can play music at the same time so i can be happily listening to music as I have been for hours and the DH finishes work and gets in the car and steals my music 😂 I quickly steal it back though! We need to sort that out but never get round to it!
