Disneyland at Christmas

Hello Everyone,

I have been looking into doing Disneyland Paris at Christmas time. I was wondering what its like with crowds and if its worth doing.

Thank you

We were there last December came back on the 23rd .
It was actually a lot busier than we thought it would be as we also went the previous December but earlier on and it was much quieter .
We still had a great time though and it was much milder than normal too which helped

We have just moved our September booking to December. It's the first time we have ever been at this time of year so very unsure what to expect in regards to crowds (we have booked Mon-Fri though in hope that avoiding the weekend will help!)

That said, if things carry on as they are I would imagine they will still be limiting visitor numbers so it might not be as much of a concern this year!

The Christmas season starts in November. We've been twice during the Christmas season but never actually at Christmas or New Year - we don't do crowds.

DLP does Christmas like no-one else though - it's lovely. Just take loads of warm clothing and plenty of money for hot chocolate!

We have been between Christmas and NewYear and it was the busiest time of the year. But we loved the atmosphere and all the decorations etc. Please do check the weather before you go and pack accordingly. We had freezing fog and you could see the ice forming on the trees.

Our comment was if you have not been to Disney before you may be disappointed in how many attraction you get on/see . As we had been before we chose carefully.

It has been getting busier year in year. We love going christmas/new year time. So festive. Cold but layer up and it is fine.

We went from 27-30th December last year and as I expected it was busy! We found the first couple of hours the best time to get some rides done and also later in the evening. We have been before and were happy to soak up the atmosphere a lot of the time and it is lovely to see. We had one day where we just needed jackets, another where we had hats and gloves too and the last full day we had thermals!

I agree with this - if you haven't been before, you're really not going to get the best out of your visit if you go at one of the busiest times of the year, and this year there may be restrictions due to COVID19 too.

We went Xmas 2018 for the first time - it was amazing! Freezing cold, often wet, but walking down Main St with the fake snow, Christmas music playing & a hot chocolate in hand, was just perfect. The tree is beautiful, and at night when all lit up, just beautiful! We went on the 8th, it was busy but not ridiculously so! And the Gingerbread house at the Disneyland hotel 😍

Quite literally, just booked for Christmas. 23/12 to 27/12.

Have previously been in early December and really enjoyed it. I agree with previous posters, you have to plan differently. It’s busier, colder and a very special experience.

Never actually been for the Big Day itself...

Have to admit,I’m weirdly anxious about Christmas Day itself... any advice? Thinking about booking California Grill...
