I felt so sorry for one of them her parents wouldn’t have anything to do with her and the only visitor she had was a social worker.
She was there when I arrived and still there when I left 2 days later, I’ve often wondered what happened to her and if she was ok. The other 3 girls all seemed to have lots of support from family.

I was 29 when I had my first in 1980 and had 'Elderly Primigravida' plastered across my NHS blue card Today I would be considered a spring chicken
My youngest was born when I was 38.

I was 26 with my 1st 36 with my 4th, DH was 32 and 42, DD came home mortified one day from primary when she had worked out with her friend DH was same age as her friends Granddad,

Trust me multi layered families are not always the idyll they seem, I was the middle of a five generation sandwich and it was very very demanding, physically and mentally. X

I was 29 almost 30 with ds1 and 33 almost 34 (10days before) with ds2. They are both in 20’s now but I can’t see me ever being a granny but it’s not something I worry about.
