November GCSE’s, will they happen?

Hi all, I’m considering booking a week in Orlando for Oct half term, obviously it may not happen anyway but I’m wondering if anyone thinks November GCSE’s will go ahead as my eldest daughter will have started year 11 and I think they are due to start them then, any teachers on here perhaps have any idea?🥴

Do you mean the Y11 mocks, I would think they would still go ahead they did at our school this year but I think each school sets there own dates for the mocks.

Who knows anything any more. Schools seem to hear the news from the press the same time as everyone else so no inside info. November exams happened in 2020 if that’s any help.

My sons mocks were the 2 weeks following half term in October 2020.

Thanks very much for replies, would have loved half term away but not if she comes straight back to exams☹️
