Well. Not sure what to say. Last weekend the charity owes me money. They don't this week but not do I owe them.

I am trying to eat healthily but am unable to exercise at the moment even walking so the whole endeavour seems a bit pointless.
Mr FamG is doing well but won't weigh yet. I can see it in his face though.

Men always seem to drop weight easier than ladies

I can't agree because I'm currently going through the male menopause and that hinders my weight loss

Please don't over focus on the exercise side of things. You can lose weight by healthy-eating alone. I'm not saying that exercise is not very important for your overall health, but cutting back on your calories will show results - whatever your age.

Good luck!

Thanks for this, cheered me up! It's weigh day tomorrow but we've not been out for a walk for days. We got a notification on the NHS app we had to isolate. Gave us both a fright. We are so careful, haven't been in a shop since March, everything delivered, just walk round our local streets every day. Didn't see the kids Christmas, haven't seen them in months. All we can think is last week I got a sore eye. On our walk DH went into our local chemist for some drops. He wore his mask but its quite small and there were 2 others in the shop. That's the only thing we can think of.
I hope I've lost something because we're really trying.
Good luck everyone, so many good causes are going to benefit and so are we.

As much as I am walking more now - (when I can, 10k steps a day was silly for me cause I’m beating myself up when I don’t manage it. Need to get back into the nightly habit of posting on here to not lose focus and realise that even doing 5k one day is great if I managed 10k most days) when I did WW 7 years ago, I didn’t consciously do any exercise at all. I had a day office job and the theatre in the evening, but I’d been doing that for years. It was just eating less .

Now I’m just a bit desperate because of the wedding so I need to try everything.

Off for a dog walk now, will go back to posting daily updates for my sake if that’s alright xx

We weighed in yesterday and in 2 weeks my dh has lost 12lbs and I have lost 4lbs.
I am glad about my 4lbs as had bloods done and had meds changed abit but thyroxine has been increased, so I might shift abit more.
My dh is active and I am struggling with moving around the house atm, so like I said I'm happy with 2lbs a week, lets hope it continues. Good luck everyone and just do what you can, everyone is different with exercise and eating 😊

Kelly, 2lb is brilliant considering your medication etc. Well done! X
