Amex Nectar vs BA Amex?

With the news that BA will now be teaming up with Nectar I am wondering when my BA Amex comes to an end this year, whether I switch over to a Nectar Amex. That way I would get the Nectar Points and also be spending on the Amex at the same time?

It seems a no brainer to switch but my maths isn't great and I am sure someone on here will be better than me!

ive had a nectar amex for the past few years, and it works out great.

I can't remember when I last cleared it out and spent the points, but it was probably about 18 months ago, and just before christmas I had �450 built up on nectar, which I have now spent
