I have chocolate poisoning

I had a bad a night's sleep due to the wind (in and outside of my bedroom) and also because of waking up with stomach pains as a result of eating so much chocolate (no alcohol though) and I believe I must have chocolate poisoning.

I haven't been able to do big toilets today so far which is unusual for me because normally after breakfast and a filter costa I am ready for action with a packet of huggies wipes at the ready.

Has anyone else experienced chocolate poisoning?

MH. I have also experienced this. Hillingdon felt like Kansas last night didn’t it? I passed out on the sofa yesterday at 5pm, with a tummy ache after consuming my weight (which isn’t pretty) in celebrations. Felt poorly all night from over indulging. Today I will only eat half my body weight in chocolate as I’m not prepared for cold turkey yet (the stuff in the fridge can stay there too) and we shall see how I feel tonight. I hope you manage to make toilet soon, it’s not a good feeling!

I haven’t experienced it yet, but I feel that today is my day - stretchy waistband at the ready...

Our borough was certainly windy last night, and it sounds like I'm not the only one wh has been over indulging. Also not good to hear that there has been a 500% increase in coronavirus cases in some parts our borough, but from what I've seen I can't say I'm surprised. The good thing is that once all the chocolate and goodies is gone I won't be rushing out to the shops for more because I am avoiding any visits to shops unless absolutely essential, plus come the 1st January I am starting the dibb weight loss challenge and I will look a right plonker not losing any weight when I suggested the challenge (plus it's for charities).

Now this is interesting as when I was pregnant I consumed a family sized bar of aero in one sitting and had the worst D (of the D&V variety), to the point I rang the doctor as I was worried about the baby and was told ‘you do realise that chocolate is a diuretic don’t you?!’

So perhaps it isn’t chocolate poisoning that’s causing your blockage?

I do hope things clear quickly - perhaps more chocolate might help?

I’m now sitting on the toilet as I type this (I promise you I am) and things are happening which might also be because I’ve been eating after eight mints this morning to help things move (a bit like hair of the dog).

I won’t go into any detail, but things aren’t quite as firm as I would have liked🙁

Let’s hope that by the end of this ‘sitting’ you are feeling minty fresh!

I’d perhaps refrain now from more chocolates for the rest of the day, I think possibly the after eights have done the trick!

Honestly MH, this is really too much information

However, I had dinner with family on Christmas day and they don't do a traditional Christmas dinner, so I had my own full blown Christmas dinner with all the trimmings yesterday (I'm on my own) home made Christmas pudding with double cream, Cocktails mid morning and snacks, bubbly with my lunch and Irish coffee to round it all off. Must say, bathroom habits all normal today

Perhaps it’s not the chocolate but a little something Mrs MH put in your dinner to shut you up!

Update: All good and no tummy pains so fingers crossed. I have opened a box of 12 packs of huggies just in case things go south (literally).
