Nope, I never go shopping on boxing day. I worked in retail for years and finishing late on Christmas eve doing sale prep, then having to be in early on boxing day, really put a dampener on my Christmas day.

I wasn’t over the door yesterday or today. Having worked in retail for years, and done Boxing Day up until 2 years ago I can’t think of anything worse.

I had to go to Superdrug to get some stuff for my poor, sore hands because of too much washing and hand sanitiser and popped into Boots as well to get something from there. Town was dead.

Usually get boxes of Christmas cards from Next and single special cards from Card factory on Boxing Day, but not this year we are in Tier 4 so theses shops won’t be open for awhile. My DH is usually at a Football match, but not this year.

Had to go to our local Tesco’s on Boxing Day, as had to isolate until Christmas Day so needed to shop. We were there about 9.10 am and it was empty. Got a few strange looks from the few people in there as most people only had a basket and we had a full trolley

Not been out since Xmas eve. The fridge is still heaving with food. Why did I buy so much? Sick of eating now and just want something light to eat like a boiled egg or bowl of cornflakes.
