Jigsaw v Hoover Disaster Of The Day

Not major thankfully, but I somehow managed to accidently hoover up and displace puzzle pieces! 😬 I put puzzle back together quickly but 9 pieces ended up in the hoover bag, oops. 😂😂
Was able to fish out 6 pieces easily but then had to get the scissors out to cut the bag open. Always interested to see what's there, drawing pins from Xmas, curtain hooks and a couple of hair clips were among the debris and finally the last 3 pieces, phew! 😃

Anyone else had a disaster today?

I had to pick through my Hoover bag recently too. I found a padlock, haribo sweets, plastic bags, wet wipes, bits of rubble, all mixed in with an awful lot of black Labrador hair

Yep dropped the glass casserole dish with tonight’s dinner in so it’s baked potatoes with fillings
I suppose I better make apple pie or crumble to make up for it
Dinner was supposed to be chicken stew with rosemary dumplings

This happened not once but twice and in two different homes with different hoovers - made a whistling noise and not sucking as well as I like and investigating found a mouse both times in the gubbings - no iPad if it suck it up or it got in another way but twice over the years ! (Also once had a mouse stuck in my dishwasher waste pipe !)

No but I have lost a couple of curtain hooks. They literally disappeared and were not in the hoover drum. I also threw all my spares away during one of my recent clear outs!

Oh no, that beats my disaster! Apple crumble is a positive despite the extra work. Custard, cream or ice cream? 😁

Oh that's a pain, I tend to find 'spares' on window ledges or bookshelves in bedrooms...

My disaster involves a jigsaw, but not a Hoover...I’ve just finished a Thomas Kinkade Beauty and the Beast jigsaw, got to the end and a piece missing... I have a random piece in its place! It was brand new in the packet!
