Disney Ticket refunds / extensions for 2021- and 2021 price predictions!

I have (almost certainly) decided to postpone my trip to Disney World this October to next year as I’ve now been offered a voucher and want to get the full experience.

My options - April - cost is currently about £1500 more for an identical trip.

August - Hotel (would be POP - booked All Stars bit not available for booking next year) Not too bad but flights are not available yet. Don’t know how expensive they would be.

October - can’t get prices yet full stop! Or can I? Plus my 14 day ultimate ticket will expire like everyone else’s September 26th 2021!

My instinct says to hold on to my ticket for now. I purchased it directly from Disney. Does anyone know if Disney will refund a ticket in full, and is there a deadline to do this?

Also what do people predict for October next year ticket wise? A 14 day ultimate is already £60 more expensive then what I paid.

Can hotels be booked for October yet? I know it’s the 50th birthday so I don’t know whether this will be a good time!

If the tickets were part of your package? If you have booked with Disney then keeping the tickets isn't an option & I think that it would be a PR nightmare for them to go back on that, we had to give up our 21 day tickets that are no longer available
Can't say that I've ever heard of them refunding a ticket but in present circumstances who knows!
October reservations will be released once they've suitably increased the price! There's no way that they aren't taking bookings because it's going to be cheaper IYKWIM IMO October forward could be scary prices!

I got my tickets refunded today called the UK number and option 2 amend booking ... took a few minutes
