This is our issue - as a family of 5 reasonably priced rooms on Disney property were already in short supply - now with other resorts still being closed things are even harder.

I'm pleased I have my deposit down for my own piece of mind because I am expecting a mad scramble and price increases as soon as things start to improve

We have ruled out 2021 as we like to stay on site with dining plan - with that not available we aren’t prepared to commit to spending the cash and wanted to go deluxe next time, so we are out.
Have booked a week in Paris instead - 4 nights centre parcs and 3 nights Disneyland Paris, so it will be a compromise year till we know more about what the new normal in Florida will be!

We were planning on our last 'family' trip in 2022 doing our usual 3 weeks of Disney, Universal and Beach. Recent circumstances have meant that we can now afford a two week break next year if we only do Universal so we are looking to book two weeks next August, 5 days in Universal and then down to the Keys and back for the remaining 9 days and then a just Disney holiday in 2022.

Again like many I am quietly confident that things will resemble some sort of normality by then if not then the world will have gone to hell in a handcart as they say.

My thinking is that I am only paying deposits at the moment with balances not due until next July and surely by then we will know where we stand.
