Disney Hotel to Universal

A friend is staying at a disney hotel and has asked me the best way to travel to Universal as they have no car. Any advice?

You can connect via bus at Disney Springs but UBER is fairly inexpensive to transfer to Universal and back (didn't go last year so don't have up to date prices so hopefully another Dibber can help with that). Our UBER from CBR to further up I Drive were between 15 dollars and 30 dollars, including tip (depending on the traffic)

I used Uber several times in October to get from Disneys Art of Animation hotel to universal and it cost $14-$18 dollars. Never waited more than 10 minutes for a driver either.

We used Mears private transfer. There was 7 of us so we split the cost.

Can I throw an extra question in here?
We are a family of 5 staying at Art of Animation and think we will be travelling off site for up to 6 days - Universal/SeaWorld/Discovery Cove etc.
We were going to do taxis but wondered if it would be better/cheaper to hire a car.
Uber sounded like a fab idea but reading a diff post, sounds like its mainly for up to 4 passengers.
There are so many things to think of - feeling bamboozled!

You book UBER XL which will carry up to 7 people. I have been reading another thread on here which said you could order a normal UBER X. She said most would have been ok, you get driver and vehicle details and if its a sedan which will only carry 4 you can cancel it within 5 minutes. Then go back on and reorder or just get an XL
