do i need an International Driving Permit (IDP) for my trip
As the title. Do i need to obtain a International Driving Permit (IDP) to drive on a UK licence in florida?

fantastic. only reason i ask is that the AA website (directed from the .gov website) says we have. Confusing !

Definately no. The IDP is really for countries where the license is in a different language. You do not need one.

You do require photo identification however, so if you have an old style paper licence with no picture you must carry your passport with you.
No IDL required for the USA.
