I would suggest the winter park fish co but clearly not going to be for you!
For lunch I'd recommend Yellow Dog Eats and for the evening maybe The Ravenous Pig? Although that's mainly fish and steak of some sort.
Maggianos isn't bad. I'm not massively enthusiastic about Italian but OH and DS loved it. Roy's is a favourite but again, quite fishy but there are other options.

If you like Mexican then you should definitely try Agave Azul agaveazulorlando/ it's up near Universal and it looks really random from the outside (on a retail park by a phone shop and a gym) so we weren't convinced the first time, but the food is awesome, great drinks and service and really reasonably priced.

Another favourite of ours is Joe's crab shack, there are a few branches, we find the one in by Fun Spot way better than the others.

Oh and on our last trip we finally tried Tu Tu Tango on Idrive, we've tried to get in on several visits but always been fully booked, so definitely make sure you book. It's tapas / small plates type food but everything is really creative and it's a great environment as they have local artists in every night making pieces of art to sell. Really very different and worth a look.

And another vote for Cowfish, the sushi is to die for!
