Glad it's gone well. Not had this but one of my cats needed an operation to remove a plum sized piece of necrotic tissue from his abdomen a few years ago it's scary when they go for an operation isn't it. Hopefully your cats other ear will make up for the loss of hearing in that ear. We had a cat for 15 years that lost his sight aged one. He adapted very well and even went outside. Poor thing must have had a sore nose though if anything was left out of place in the house he would walk into it. Good job it was pre my children!

Phew what a relief it went well. Cats bounce back from operations - they don't know what convalescence means !

My Eric is 19 and a half and almost totally deaf but we manage to communicate - he lets me know when he's hungry but he's got an excuse to not do what I tell him !
