Question on behalf of daughter

DD due to fly to Thailand April 5th obviously looking less likely

Can someone confirm if I have this correct

Scenario 1.. Airline cancels flight - airline HAS to refund cost of tickets?

Scenario 2 FCO advise no go area. - claim off insurance?

Scenario 3. Thailand close borders. No refunds

Thank you

Point 2 is already in force. The FCO has said no to worldwide travel.

As it says in the FCO link.

If you now need to change or cancel your travel plans, follow these steps:

1. contact your airline, travel company, cruise line or other transport and accommodation providers
2. get in touch with your insurance provider

The insurance will always expect you to try and get your money back first.
