Easyjet refund

Last week i booked a flight with easyjet but mistakenly added the wrong dates. I immediately cancelled the booking in the understanding i have 24 hours free cancellation subject to a fee. It would take about a week. I have just checked my bank account and instead of refunding the amount they have taken that amount. This has now taken me into overdraft and there is no way of contacting the airline or my bank due to the current issues.

So have they charged you once or twice? If just once, then I suspect the refund minus the admin fee will follow. I cancelled a flight within 24 hours and they did just that, charged, then refunded.

They charged me for the flight, Then informed me i was to receive a refund in 7 days.Then after 6 days the took the refund amount. I still cant get through to them, I have now informed my bank who are now investigating.

Well that sounds like an unfortunate mix-up, I'm sure it will be refunded x2 (minus, I think, a £25 cancellation fee if my memory serves me right).

Which one would hope they waiver in the circumstances!

My bank investigated and took all my emails to and from easyjet. They have agreed with me and refunded me x2, But as yet easyjet have still not admitted it although it is quite obvious. Id love to get them on the phone!
