Hi,

We go at this time most years. In my opinion, it’s a good time to visit. Yes, it’s busy but manageable with fast passes or express passes (Universal)

The weather is more of a challenge. It will be hot and muggy but if you are fairly active/fit you will be ok. Expect rain most days too especially late afternoon and early evening.

Expect some activities to be spoilt/delayed/impacted by storms for at least a couple of hours. Its not like going on a Mediterranean holiday where its 100% dry and sunny.

Plan your days around the weather. It is usually dry in the mornings so do the parks/water parks first thing. Rest in the afternoons and maybe go out again in the evenings

I would go last 2 weeks of August if possible. Much lighter crowds as a lot of US schools will have gone back by then.
