when to go - end of june / end of august
Hi, we are currently booked for the last two weeks of August this year, but in case either we cancel, or are forced to cancel due to corona, we have started to plan for next year.
Our two "big" kids are in uni, so need to work around them. We have ruled out easter and xmas due to the crowds. We could go first two weeks of September, but are worried about the start of hurricane season. Therefore, we may have to settle for last two weeks of June or last two weeks of August. Any views on the pros and cons of this? Thanks |

I’d personally go the last 2 weeks of August on a usual year as the Americans tend to be back at school by then. I’ve been in both June and August and August was quieter. Weather doesn’t bother me, I just go for shade when it gets too much.
Next year - it’s gonna be hammered no matter when you travel. |
