Sky sports subscription

I am contemplating cancelling my Sky Sports subscription. I have it mainly for football, I can’t see the season being completed in the current situation.

What was the deal? I tried a couple of weeks ago to extend my current deal of £33 a month for everything but they were not for doing anything then.

We were paying more than that but it's down to £21 something now.

Think I will ring them tomorrow and see if we can get out of it - we got a deal with them cause they couldnt fit SKY Q for us so they gave us All sports for £16 but DH only watches the F1 any way

Sky just announced you can pause your subscription for no fee. Bit of a kerfuffle though as they state you can only do it by ringing and not online.

I expect there'll be a huge wait time...

Just going to copy and paste this from sky forums which is a bit crafty

"If you call using the phone number registered with Sky you get through quicker. I have just done so and got through in 2 minutes. You have to ask for the value team. However - they offered me to pause my subscription, but it wasn't a pause - it was a cancel and restart , the point being I was told they couldn't guarantee to reinstate me with the same discount - £13 a month - that I have now"

You can now do this online. If you Google sky sports pause you will get the link. You still get the channels so you can get any replays they show and they will automatically start it up again once things are back to normal.
