We tried so many steroid creams and moisturisers prior to this.

Please if you do decide to give this a go, make sure to do a very small patch test to ensure it doesn't irrate your skin.
All my skin damage is from steroid use. I was giving the strongest cream for 6 years and its destroyed my skin. It's so brittle that moving makes my hands crack now. The hemo cream sadly makes my skin worse but I havent tried tea tree!

I also used Body Shop hemp cream and it works really well.. just don't like the smell of it.

We were very lucky to move into a house that had a water softener fitted. Both mine and DS's Eczema cleared up completely in a few weeks.

I always know when we need to add salt as my hands start to itch.

I’ve had eczema since I was little and still struggle with my hands, even more so with all the washing. I still use betnovate and dermovate but as a moisturiser a few times a day I use neutrogena intense repair. To help it soak in more, put it on then wrap cling film round your leg and leave it as long as possible. I put plastic gloves on my hands then cotton gloves over the top and leave them on all night

Zeroderm - I had eczema on my hands, and this was the only lotion that worked for me.

I added a few drops of tea tree oil to my bath water when my excema was bad as it has anti bacterial and anti fungal properties.

See if they will let you use diprosalic ointment. I had really bad eczema when I was younger , mostly on my hands, and used all the steroid creams as well. I still get it a bit on my hands now, but if I use some diprosalic maybe once a week it really keeps it at bay.
I can use all the hand cream and moisturisers in the shop but I do need to use this occasionally to keep it at bay.

I have been using steroid creams on and off for most of my life with short term effect. For the past 18 months my Doctor has been prescribing Protopic, which doesn’t thin the skin. The results are slower but it does keep the excema under control. I now use it twice a week for maintenance and twice a day if it flares up, and have decided not to use steroid creams again. for moisturiser I use Doublebase Cream or Child’s Farm baby moisturiser.
