I was 10
Went with my father (living in US at the time)
First park was ‘The Epcot Centre’ (not plain Epcot!)
First experience was in Communicore, the one where you saw the server rooms supposedly running all the attractions.
First proper ride was Journey into the Imagination which had only opened two months prior.

Same reaction as everyone else really. Attention to detail, and everything seemed way more advanced than in the UK (don’t think that’s true now). Also the scale of the place.

I was wondering if everybody would say MK, so good to see Epcot for a first visit! I miss the old Journey into Imagination ride, it was so much fun!

It was back in 1993 with a friend. I was 23 and it was my first holiday abroad apart from a holiday to Jersey and some trips to France.

Can’t remember which park, but I would presume MK and one of the mountains.

To this day, every time I go back I have to ride Big Thunder Mountain first!

First park was MK, it was 1990 and I was 11. With my parents and brother, it was very much a holiday of a lifetime, we were 4 weeks in the US. A week at WDW, MGM Studios had just opened, and Typoon Lagoon was new. Don't remember our first ride, possibly BTM, which my mother was shaking after! I remember it feeling very magical.
