I'm so excited for you! I have done NY at Christmas 3 times now (never actually ON Christmas day, usually the week before) and it's just the most magical place. I don't think I'll ever get bored of it. Plus getting a bit of Christmas shopping in is always nice
Can I recommend seeing Anastasia on Broadway. Absolutely fantastic! |

Another recommendation for Rockettes show its fantastic no matter what age you are! They do a Holiday lights tour on the HOHO buses too, which looked good. Our favourite thing was ice skating in Central Park - have an amazing time!

After yet another plane and schedule change, with the Virgin computer under the impression that Leander wants to sit as far away from me as possible, I decided to go for it and book PE for the return. Im sick of logging in and finding my paid for seats have been moved. With my refund for exit row, I got it for £240. Im well aware I still paid £380 but its sounds better Im funny about the 3-3-3 config. Hope all is well in your planning

Just an update. I've managed to book our tickets for the Rockettes via Ticket Master with code DM50, posted on another site. Absolutely over the moon. Didn't think I would be able to get them for a good price. Think it worked out £46 each.

Well what an amazing experience that was. Loved every minute of it. We had Christmas Lunch at The Churchill Tavern. That was booked in August. Beautiful traditional lunch, 3 courses. $49.95 p/p. Decorated lovely to.
Rockettes show was fab we had the 10pm show Christmas night. That was the latest night we had. We were up early and back at our hotel by 8pm. We walked everywhere. Loved the whole we will go this direction and enjoy what we find. We knew what main sites we wanted to see but went with the flow. Husband always gets lost in our city but he had New York mastered. My boys 16 & 12 loved it too. We have soooo many memories. We laughed a lot. I was very emotional on this trip. Greatful we were able to do it. Such a beautiful place with lots to see and do. Thanks dibbers for your help. Happy New Year. |
