Salou - Beach and Ice Cream

We had another chilled out day - ate some ice cream

The beach looks lovely .
I’m following this as am considering Salou for next year .This isn’t your first visit but can you recommend any typically Spanish restaurants and also if we were to go half board what do you think a reasonable daily budget would be for two adults and a teen ?
Also have you ever done Salou downhill bike tours ?

Salou is a lovely town and I think there is lots to do for everyone of all ages.
Spanish restaurants are more found in the old part of Salou further away from the larger beach - if you head away from Portaventura and past the marina there are lots of lovely little Spanish tapas bars.
If you go half board I would recommend 100 euros a day, we managed on this although we did buy our Portaventura passes before we booked and we are not big drinkers.
We havent done the downhill bikes but have heard nothing but good reviews about this.
