Mobile Good and bad of the USA homework

My son's homework is to list 6 good and bad things about USA, and his first good thing was ... Disney world 😁
The second NASA, after that I suggested he should include some non Florida based ideas but I like the way he thinks.

Horrendous rich/poor divide. There is a real underclass in America that’s shocking.

I've been face timing a friend in Florida this evening and I posed this to her views she's Scottish her husband comes from Tennessee they live in Florida
Good
The out door life style / more family oriented culture
Property prices
Weather but she does know that's state dependant
College Scholarships all 3 of her girls
have them and they had to have the grades at school and at college
Cheaper car/gas / driving at 16
Alchol laws 21 to drink
In Florida employment in the parks that provides health care benefits
Bad
HeLth care insurance ( her DH works for Disney as do the girls part time hence even although they have scholarships they are all in state
For their health care benefits )
Car insurance a nightmare to include all things like uninsured drivers
Gap insurance )
Gun Control ( or lack of it )
How whatever party is in control of the senate /house no mater what part the president is can can control legislation like women's rights health benefits /family plannning
The fact that she's been married to a US Marine for 25 years he retires in August as she has retained her Uk citizenship so the girls have dual
Rights if the worst should happen she will need to come home as did our mutual friend with her sons after 9/11 till she fought it

A lot of these are a matter of perspective , notably Trump to some Americans he's marvellous after all ! Healthcare is another, aAmericans regard themselves as fortunate to have employment with healthcare insurance however the excesses on these insurances are substantial and a Brit accustomed to the NHS would be shocked to discover that even with good healthcare a major illness of procedure can still leave the patient with a bill for thousands just from the excess. A friend (who works at a high level testing IT systems for the US defence dept was in a car accident with her husband, his medical bills tipped $250,000 with rehab , she is grateful the bill is "only" $12,000 for theexcess, even though it isn't money they have.

I dothink teaching kids to judge things as "good" and "bad" about a country is a bit odd, It's very subjective and could easily cross the line into racism

Britain has all of those at the moment too , none of them are specific to America ! Isn't that just a list of things that are bad in the world in general ?
