Mobile Here now, tooth/gum infection?

I’m in Orlando (Disney Springs area) at the moment and I think I’ve got a tooth infection.

Is there anywhere near by that I can get antibiotics or similar without seeing a doctor?

What’s the easiest process. I could contact my insurance company but that seems a bit OTT. I’ve not needed to see a doctor in the past so not sure what to do?

I don’t mind spending a few quid to sort it.

Thanks, Kat

I get these quite often with partially ruptured wisdom tooth leaving a flap of gum that debris can get caught under. This works for me with an infection.

Not cheap, but cheaper than dentist.

walmart/ip/Philips-S...X8332/50337131

And in UK I fill the reservoir with some Corsodyl origional mouthwash.

Then place the nozzle close to gum line of problem tooth / area of sore gum and do a few squirts to wash out the problem area. I see if I can get a tiny bit of blood in my spittle then stop the spraying and just take some of the mouthwash normally. Repeat each morning / night for couple of days and fingers crossed - helps me.

These contain the active ingredient but obviously go for mouthwash version:

walmart/search?q=chl...ne+digluconate

You can actually get a Corsodyl spray now so don’t need to do it via anything else.
I got one on Amazon.

I semi do a similar thing. Have the same issue with my wisdom teeth. I clean it out with one of those stick flossers and corsodyl. Always the corsodulyl mouthwash seems to have some magic in it that stops the infection. I discovered this when I had an infection when pregnant and they didnt want to give me anything for it as it was only a mild infection.

I used to get inflammation regularly with my wisdom teeth and washing with salt water a few times a day works miracles! Hope you get sorted.

My dentist recommends salt water too as it draws the infection out.
I also rubbed some Colgate sensitive toothpaste on the infected gum and took ibuprofen.

I have had terrible tooth infections after flying

I turn to Kanka gel - its like a paintbrush/pen thing - its 20% anaesthetic so takes the pain away instantly - and with the brush end you can get right where you need to!

And a combination of painkillers.

I once spent a saturday evening in A&E in New York hoping for a tooth extraction as it was soo unbearable... the nurse slipped me a note saying buy the Kanka gel - thereby saving me a mimumin of $600 for just even walking in the door

Hope you feel better soon x

Thanks guys that’s all really helpful. It’s my wisdom tooth that’s the problem too. Usually it sorts itself but seems to be lingering.
