Flybe returns !

Flybe return with 500 flights a week from mid April.

Nothing from Exeter or Newquay by the looks of it. We’re always overlooked down this way. I used them loads over the years and was very sad when they went under.

Hope they do OK. They were a lifeline for me when I had to work away from home for years, used to fly Southampton to Edinburgh.

Be good if they did the isles again so Loganair had some competition and we could maybe get some lower prices - for non islanders it's often £300 + for a return flight Glasgow/Edinburgh to Kirkwall.
Although when they did used to do the route we called them Flymaybe as there was always problems. Hopefully they've learned lessons from their previous failures.

Not surprising really, they went under because they were not profitable, not enough people used their services

Within 50 miles of Newquay there are 400k people, within 50 miles of Exeter there are 600k people, within 50 miles of Manchester there are 3m people.

So if you have to decide where to fly to/from and you know you failed last time because you concentrated on the under-populated south west region?
