Which app do I need for mobile food ordering at Universal?

I read about someone suggesting pre-ordering voodoo doughnuts on the food ordering app to pick up on the way out of the parks.
Which app do I need and do we need to preorder all our food in the parks like we have to in the disney parks?
Thanks in anticipation...😊

It's just the Universal Studios orlando app.

There have been some threads on here regarding issues with UK cards not working on the app.

We couldn't get ours to work so couldn't eat at some places that had mobile order only in April/May. I think that has been sorted now and you can pay at the till if you don't have the app.

As you say, some people have had major issues not being able to link any of their cards.

Then also the issue of not being allowed to eat at certain places!

Apparently if this is the case you just need to tell them you're unable to order on the app and they SHOULD let you go to the counter. If not, ask to speak to a Team Leader. Let's hope it doesn't get to that ridiculous point for anybody though! 🤞

Was coming on here to say the same thing about UK cards, we tried several times in December and couldn’t get it to work. It’s frustrating especially as at some places (Thunder Falls Terrace springs to mind) they will bring your food to the table if you mobile order. Much less waiting in line and more convenient. I hope they get this sorted.

Is it a certain type of card in particular? Pre-paid? Or debit/credit? Wonder why they won’t work. Seems really strange in the year 2022 that their systems aren’t set up to allow cards from overseas.
We will be using the Halifax Clarity. Has anyone used this one?

We tried First Direct debit Mastercard and BA American Express credit card. Neither worked. But this was six months ago so maybe there has been some progress since then.

Fingers crossed. 🤞🏻 We used Mobile ordering at Disneyland in Anaheim in Feb and thought it was great. So much easier than standing around in a queue.

Yep . We used it quite a bit in Disney World in December as several places were mobile order only (Pizzafari springs to mind…we only wanted a Diet Coke 🤣.)

Just as a tip for anyone considering mobile order, if anyone’s watched All Ears videos, Molly says regularly to mobile order your lunch as soon as you know where / what time you want to eat. On busy days lunch slots at popular places fill up in the mornings and you might have to wait until after peak time. It’s a bit annoying to have to sort that out basically around breakfast time but worth it when you get your food reasonably quickly and at the time you want it.
