On our recent visit we really enjoyed the Boathouse and Wine Bar George. We tend to grab a drink or two and share an appetiser or two at Homecomin’ - I find the food a bit beige for more than that.

Lots of reviews and vlogs seem to all rave about the thigh high chicken biscuit starter, which is big enough for a main. It’s cheaper than an actual main. Has anyone in here tried that?

I am thinking will either have that or one of the chicken burgers as more manageable for me than the actual fried chicken and donuts meal and about $10 cheaper (plus prefer chicken off the bone).

Funnily enough yes that was one of the starters we shared. We also had hush puppies. That was a big enough meal for us (a couple) though we did have the flaming cheese thingy at WBG too a bit later. We definitely didn’t need that though 😂

On our 2022 trip The Buffalo, Bacon & Blue Burger at Boathouse was fantastic
Also really enjoyed City Works, massive beer menu and the filet mignon sliders were lovely too.

We always go to Blaze, never been disappointed.

Table service would recommend Jaleo and House of Blues. The Edison was good when we visited before the pandemic too.

This time trying City Works and probably Homecomin’ because of all the good reviews too.

Yes that starter is plenty for a main. But I find the biscuits a little dry so ask for extra of the sauce they give.

I love the Mac n Cheese and mash potato at Homecoming. DELISH

We went to the Street Food side last time we went.
We had to wait a little while (only about 5 mins) for them to cook some ribs... So when they were done one of the chefs came out of the kitchen in the restaurant directly to us, with a double sized portion to say sorry for the wait! 😍
