Mobile Plus size and new rides

I’m more Ursula than Ariel, DH is not as big as me but still more Baymax than Baywatch…!

Not been since 2014 and wondering about fitting on some rides new to us.

I gather FOP is not kind to those of us with thunder thighs. Where are the trial seats, can you go to them without being in the queue? Not paying for ILL if we can’t ride.

I think RotR should be OK as should GotG by the look of it. Done Remy in DLP often so that will be fine.

I have never done 7DMT and have read that it isn’t good for larger people?

Much of this is academic for me as I don’t do the big rides anyway. But good to know before we spend money.

Remy is the only one our party (lots of pooh bears) had any sort of issue with and that was just that the entrance to get into the ride vehicle was very narrow so had to squish threw.

The trail seat for Flights of Passage is outside the ride itself

None of us do big rides so have never done GotG, FOP or 7DMT so can't comment on those sorry. What I would say is only ride we've had any issues with is the getting into Winnie the Pooh and Journey into Imagination in the same way we do on Remy as the entrance bits are narrow

For FOP I found it’s more being able to get yourself in tight around the tummy area rather than thighs, so good to be able to push that area forwards when ‘mounting’ the ride. I’m a 22/24 mostly tummy. ROTR is absolutely fine, just a lap belt from memory. SDMT is also fine, a bit snug as there’s a moulded seat but the restraint pulls down toward your lap so not ‘one size fits all’. Haven’t ridden GotG yet as we couldn’t get on the previews last month. Agree also that are my is snug to enter the ride vehicle.

FOP I wore compression leggings and went on tips toes, following advice on facebook disney plus size group, and was a very easy fit, there are even calve measurements available so you can be sure.

7DMT was uncomfortable on the knees but the ride is so short it was fine

GotG opened after my return
