The delta lounge has come on leaps and bounds from what it used to be. They now have hot food and snacks instead of just pretzels and peanuts.
It’s relaxing and comfortable.

I didn't think it was dire when we flew back in 2019, it was large and airy with plenty of seats and we actually got talking to some cool people that we've stayed in touch with. We're hoping to use the United lounge this summer as we've a code share on the AL flight.

We came back last Friday and used the Delta lounge for the first time. It was awful!
Queueing downstairs to get in and if you went out you had to queue again. No seats when you got in. Food choices were 1 weird sandwich and some very odd bean salad thing. Cheese cubes, processed turkey slices. Lays crisps and some pretzel mix. If there is a voucher I would definitely take it if offered!

We used it Monday was very good a little busy to start ,the staff when clearing empty’s asked if you wanted another drink and brought it to you.
There were rolls,soup chilli and bean salad hot rice .Gin,vodka ect complimentary. |

I have to say I was quite impressed with the lounge in may.
No virgin clubhouse by any means but a relatively quiet and comfortable place to wait. Clean toilets ( always a a plus to me). The food offerings were really rather good. 2 hot dishes, a hot soup and different cold options, salad etc. The brownies were the best I have ever tasted.😁 |
