Can any one recommendation a car hire company from lanzarote airport

We used AutoReisin last month, no wait at the desk, very efficient and very competitive prices, you can book online and pay when you collect the keys.

Will definitely use them again.

We use CICAR in fuerteventura they are all over the Canaries.
Decent price ,clean cars and loads cheaper than the usual suspects.
As mentioned above the Autoreisen company is also always busy at Fuerteventura airport.
Twice we have booked a small Corsa and been upgraded twice to a fully loaded SEAT.

+1 for Autoreisen, used them twice in Lanzarote and twice in Tenerife. Good prices, decent cars. Our last car (2019) had about 35k on the clock and a few scratches but pointed these out on pick up and no hassle on return.

Haven’t been there in the last few years, but have hired cars from both CICAR and Autoreisen multiple times in the Canaries (Tenerife and Gran Canaria, but can’t imagine Lanzarote is hugely different).

My experience (pre-pandemic) was that Autoreisen was usually cheaper, but cars were older with more mileage and a bit more worn. Only had to change a car once, and was done smoothly with no quibbles.

Conversely, Cicar was a bit more expensive, but usually newer cars and they have more offices (though not sure about on Lanzarote). Over time I preferred Cicar as long as the price difference wasn’t extreme, but customer service from both companies was good.

Last time we were there (2019) we used Hertz. Picked up at the airport, no queue at all and we got a nice Hyundai Tucson for the week
