Virgin Alamo 2nd driver

How do you add a 2nd driver to your original booking?
We have the option of adding 2 extra drivers to the hire.

Booked via Virgin. Can this be done online?

Is it just a case of having to go in and speak to someone?

Depending on your insurance level you get 1 2nd driver free, and you don�t need to add any details of that driver when you do online check in, only the lead driver.
Think any other drivers might cost extra and don�t know about adding any details.
Do your Alamo skip the counter via the Virgin holidays app/site and you�ll get to your answer.

its when it jumps from V's system to Alamos system,

you get an email 2 weeks before travel and then you add main drivers details and second drivers details

at that point you can also select skip the counter as well.

Did it about a 5 days ago for our trip in 9 days - woo and hoo.

If i have done skip the counter will i still get the option to add another driver via that email?

The last time I was with Virgin was maybe 3 or 4 years ago. Back then you couldn't add a driver on unless it was before doing 'Skip the Counter'. However all you have to do is hand the 2nd license over at the exit barrier and make sure the contract is updated.

if you are on alamos system, should be able to add drivers.
