We stayed at the Elba Suites . Great for kids of all ages even my Daughter who was 17. Good food and entertainment.

We have stayed in the Princess Yaiza - the fact that you get a kitchen and lounge along with a separate bedroom is a bonus when you have younger children.

Location half between the marina and the town perfect.

The kids club were excellent as well.

We stayed at the princess and although we loved the location were not keen on the hotel. If we returned we love the look of the princess Yaiza suites or the rubicon palace.

We also stayed at the Elba suites, and although the opposite side of town to the Marina, it was a pleasant walk (about 25-30 minutes) along the pedestrian walkway that follows the coastline.

Also possible to catch the frequent bus to/from the Marina from the side gate of the Elba.

Might be a slightly far out but we stayed at the Sandos Papagayo resort a few years ago and that was a fantastic hotel. We stayed all-inclusive (I think). It’s just over a 1.5 mile walk to the marina.

We had a lovely 5 days at Hotel Volcan, just above the marina in November. We would return happily in the future
