Polynesian dvc room
We are booked to stay in the DVC studio late July. Would someone be able to give me an idea of the provisions in the kitchenette please? For instance, is there crockery/cutlery provided (or is it paper plates). Most importantly, are there proper ceramic tea/coffee cups or are they styrofoam? I can cope with most things but not my morning cup of tea in a styrofoam cup
What type of coffee machine is it and are the supplies plentiful or should we purchase some in our grocery delivery? Many thanks x |

We stayed in a studio for 2 nights in May and as you thought foam cups, paper plates and plastic knife fork and spoons. We did not bother but I believe if asked housekeeping will bring mugs and cutlery. 2 lots of coffee only so if your staying a few days maybe include some in your shopping

We’ve always had proper mugs but this maybe a recent change. They should replenish the coffee. I tend to buy some Starbucks because I prefer it.

We have just got back, stayed at BLT, Boardwalk and AKV. All had paper / styrofoam plates, cups and plastic cutlery.
Didn’t have an issue around the quantity of coffee, they came in to remove trash daily so I assume replenished at the same time. We bought ourselves cups and plates at Walmart cos we are too lazy to keep asking!

Many thanks for the replies. Maybe i will just take a china cup with me for my tea. I don't mind for everything else but tea tastes strange in those styrofoam cups i think.

First 2 things we do as we enter a Studio Room.
Ring Bell Services to deliver our lockers, that sorts out the cutlery. Ring Housekeeping and ask for 4 glass tumblers, 4 coffee mugs and 2 blankets. During the time we are there I then find places to store those bloody awful styrene things and paper plates. First off ram the Micro full, then move on to the storage chest. At the end of the stay they get it all presented back. On a work counter normally.
