Anybody stacked ll at animal kingdom and arrived on purpose late

We are here now and have animal k on Friday after a late night at mk on Thursday. We have no early access. I'm thinking of stacking genie ll at 7am, 10am and midday then heading to the park around midday... might attempt avatar at closing.

Any thoughts or real life experiences of this strategy? My kids are all 10+ so pretty robust, but like sleep in the morning

Why would you do that? And wouldn't it prevent people who actually want to go on the rides from doing so?

Sounds good to me, so if I understand you right you’ll book your first ride at 7am with a ride time of after noon, then at park opening time you book another ride again for say after 1pm, then at noon you book a ride time for after 2pm say? Give it a go, I’d be really interested in how you get on 👍🏻.

Of course you can stack rides for later, I haven’t been since pandemic, but I certainly have plans to do the same. It will be nice to have a few things lined up for when I arrive.

I don’t know how quickly everything goes at Animal Kingdom though, so at 7am the availabilities might be too early for you.

We stacked for an afternoon in AK and it worked very well arriving around 2.

We will do all our rides, just will not reserve them until afternoon slots are available

I think this is exactly what we will do - travelling with teens in august, I don’t think we will be doing many early starts. I’m only using Genie + for four days and will plan exactly this strategy to do our favourite rides in the dark.

Even better if i don't have to get up at 7. I'll check ll return times tomorrow as a test. If i reserve first ride at 8 or 9 for after midday then perfect, or reserve whichever ride is showing latest return time, which is probably best strategy anyway as that one is likely to run out the earliest

That's exactly the plan. I'll report back at the weekend
