Gifts for flight attendants

This idea was mentioned last year. We were flying to LA at Christmas so having read all the positive comments I bought one of those large pouches of chocs they do at Christmas. Trying to find an opportunity to give them to the CC without making a "thing" of it , row of 3, DH and I window and middle, not easy and we'd been asked not to leave our seats unless we needed the loo. Eventually handed them over when meal service was being cleared away. She seemed very surprised but obviously said thankyou . To be honest I felt awkward, DH thought I'd lost the plot and I'll just stick to my customary "thank you very much" on leaving in future.

It isn't something I would do. I would imagine they would feel as awkward as I would. If I had excellent service then I would feed that back to the company and thank them telling them how much I appreciated it. In their shoes I would appreciate that much more than a box of biscuits. Plus imagine if it caught on and was a 'thing' they would be inundated!

I guess if it was really a thing, Clinton's would sell "world's best cabin crew" mugs and every member would have a cupboard full of them just like most primary school teachers

If you realllly want to make the cabin crew happy, buy some duty free. We got a commission % of everything sold 😂

My DD worked for crew link on Ryan Air and this is how they made a better wage. Only if bought on the aircraft though and not pre ordered.
