US carhire app - what am I missing?

Looking for quotes for August and the US carhire app seems to be giving me a much better price than anywhere else. So what am I missing? If something looks too good to be true…

I've booked using it for August, so hopefully its ok. They seem to answer any queries well and refund tour deposit no problem too as I have cancelled and rebooked several times.

Used them many times in the past with no issues, they give all the cover you need so nothing to be worried about

The biggest unknown for me is Thrifty , as far as I can tell ATM the Tolls are something you need to watch out for as if you don't opt in to their scheme the admin fees can be quite high.

Have you tried contacting Andy at discount florida car hire? That price doesn't seem particularly cheap to me.

I tried Andy at the start of my search found the prices to be similar but it the hassle of not being able to check prices yourself that puts me off Andy(sorry Andy). I have ended up saving £600 from where I started which I may have been able to do through Andy but how often are you supposed to email I find a weekly check I can do myself a lot easier.

Ultimately what I have been doing is checking the various sites, us car hire, autoeurope, alamo brits, and if those prices come down a fair bit then I'd contact Andy. So far nothing is anywhere close of my booking with Andy from last year.

There is an element of dropping lucky on a deal/glitch from what I have read on here there was a good time last year and prices have not been that low again. I would assume if you tried Andy now he could get nowhere near your price either.

Yep that is true. I've only asked Andy for MCO collection, as I'd prefer MCO, but it isn't worth about the £500 extra for an MCO collection atm.
