Step Count @ Disney / Universal

I was wondering how many steps people average when at the various Orlando parks..

I know everyone's trips will be different etc etc

I would like to know this too. Have recently returned from Disneyland Paris and did 25k one day there, the other days were around 15k - that was just in the park!

We averaged around 25-30k at universal as we were walking from Lowes Royal to the parks and back out again on an evening. Disney was around 22K but we were only in the parks until mid afternoon and we had a car so wasn't walking as much.

Most we ever done was just over 40,000, but it was our first day magic kingdom, so we were up really early and we walked to Disney springs from Cypress pointe to start the day.

My lowest day in Nov was 22k, highest was 32k. That was only a 5 day trip though so we were on the go all of the time!

I dont have a Fitbit any more so can’t check but I’m pretty sure I was doing 20-25k steps on park days, seem to remember sea world and Epcot being more though

We were there for 8 nights and did about 25k on 5 days and about 20k the other 3.

Edit: just want to add that if you’re someone who doesn’t walk much on a regular day then I would recommend starting to take long walks a while before your trip to allow your body and feet to get used to it. I walk a minimum of 10k steps a day just walking the dog so I was fine doing the steps we did but I’ve heard people who don’t walk much say the huge amount of steps at Disney cause them issues because they go from pretty much 0 to 20k plus.

We are normally in the 20ks, maybe 30 if we go for a run first in the morning. Just looked at my Garmin and at Xmas we averaged 27,000 a day.
It’s something I really like about my holidays to WDW as I have an extremely sedentary job.

Easily 20k plus even with a break in the afternoon.
