Are the extra hours for deluxe hotels worth it mid august
Hi I’ve booked 6 nights at All Star Movies and 6 nights at The Dolphin only to reason I miss the extra hours for mK by one day so I was wondering if it’s worth reducing All Stars to 5 nights and adding the extra onto The Dolphin to get the extra evening hours.
I’m thinking of doing hopefully if it’s on next mnsshp so I’m not sure if we’d need it but I’d like your thoughts. Thanks |

I’ve watched it too and it’s looks good (I like the parks after dark - it’s my favourite time!)
My only slight reservation about having the same experience in august is , the park does close an hour earlier than Mollys experience -I just wonder if more people are likely to take up the deluxe hours from 10pm- midnight, than they possibly will have done from 11pm-1am? |

Early morning extra hours are now ruined in very busy times we found as everyone now goes to try and avoid Genie upcharge. We had absolutely massive queues in morning EMH and frankly it wasn’t worth the hassle, apart from AK.

I must admit that’s the impression I’ve been getting from all I’ve been reading.
We have always been rope drop people, so it goes against the grain to not get to the parks as soon as we can, but I am really not interested in the scrum! Also hearing people are arriving up to an hour before the early entry time, surely all that means is that you are in an hour queue anyway? I’m wondering if there is any merit in arriving at the gate say ten minutes after early entry for MK, AK & DHS? My thinking is that we wouldn’t entertain joining the crowds heading to Mine train, Flight of Passage or ROTR - but would instead let the masses swarm ahead, and instead we would walk in after them, heading to the likes of Tomorrowland Speedway, Navi/Safari and Toy Story Mania/Tower of Terror? We will either LL or queue on closing for the big ticket rides (we’ve also got after hours events - deluxe evening hours/Moonlight Magic/MNSSHP to get stuff done in as well). Does that seem a reasonable plan? (It means turning years of our touring style on its head, but I think that might be more relaxing for us) 👍 Edited at 12:57 PM. |
