We’ve stayed at the Hilton and the PP Inn and the Inn is definitely much better located! We thought the Hilton location was OK though

I think people don’t ever believe that offsite hotels can be closer than the onsite ones! Though I think the Grand Californian is closest over and above any other hotel onsite or offsite, that is the best DL hotel I’ve stayed at but the cost is very high and I can’t really justify it even with DVC points...

It was so hard for me to get my head around the fact that off site hotels are so close to the park at Disneyland! Especially after being used to WDW where the on site hotels are so far away.

The GCH is definitely the closest to the parks - after all, it has its own entrance into DCA! It is extremely expensive though...
