Awful News - Having to Replan

Just found out that my partners Mother has a brain aneurysm and was told not to fly. After the specialists had a think about it today she is told to carry on as normal. Will find out next week for sure what they recommend. Its all getting a bit close for comfort!

If I can get confirmation that she is okay to fly and sort out the extra insurances has anyone got any advice on how we should change the holiday around? I have got a load of FP booked but now thinking of changing a few to maybe easier rides (Carrousel of Progress, Enchanted Tales with Belle etc.) or adjusting to a slower pace while over there.

Im sure this will all turn out, and your partners mum will be ok..I would stick with the plans you have made , if you need some adjustments when there you can still change a little..Good luck,i hope you all enjoy your holiday esp partners mum!

I can only imagine how stressful this feels so close to your travel day.

I guess the final decision rests on what the consultant says next week and arranging extra insurance cover.

I wouldn’t give yourself extra stress about the rides etc, it’s the least of your worries.

I wouldn't worry at the moment about changing your plans, if you miss a fastpass - you miss one. As long as you MIL is comfortable and I am sure you will all just be pleased to get the all clear she can make it.

I would only suggest that you make sure she knows to tell you if she needs to stop or slow down, I know my MIL wouldn't and would always say "I am fine" even when she might be tired.

Keep positive, the specialist knows what they are doing. As mentioned, hope it's just a case of DMiL just having to take it easy. Don't overthink stuff, e.g the rides, let's just hope that MiL gets to have a fab time with all of you. Let us know when you can. Take care.

It’s all okay. Consultant is happy and she can go on holiday.

Kenwood were really good and understanding even though we are so close to going.

Just have to get on the plane now!
