Golden Triangle (with a little Disney!)

Next June I am doing 3 nights San Francisco, 4 nights LA and a week in Vegas. (We love Vegas - that's why the week)

In our short time in LA i want to do 1 day - a very busy day in Disney Land.

I wanted peoples opinions on a 'perfect Disney day' happy to park hop, just wanted to know what shouldn't/should be missed.

Hi Marie

Will you have hoppers? What are your favourite types of ride?

If it was me I’d prioritise the rides that are ‘only in Disneyland’ or very different versions of the ones you’ve done at WDW.

PS you may know this already but Disneyland is in Anaheim and can be quite a drive from LA (obviously will vary depending on where you’re staying)- depending on the time of day.

Are you flying between or driving?

There are some very serious miles between these 3 centres that will knock a two day hole in your planning..
Whilst McCarren is real close to the strip, neither LAX or SFO (or Oakland) are that close to your probable objectives. Transport from/to airports may soak up more of your time.

In San Francisco and if without a car, Union Sq is easy to get to by BART, but not Fisherman’s. A taxi or Uber may thus be the best option, depending on size of party etc.

As I said, are you driving or flying between destinations?

Driving.
San Francisco to Anaheim is 400 plus miles if you cut out the beautiful route 1
San Francisco to Vegas is 570 miles.
Anaheim to Vegas is around 280 miles.
Just things to consider!
