Painter and decorator advice please

I’ve painted some woodwork an absolutely gorgeous colour that I had colour matched. It’s a Matt vinyl though and every little thing leaves marks on it. I know I need to seal it quickly before it’s ruined but what should I be buying as a clear coating? Thanks

When you say Matt Vinyl do you mean an Emulsion?

If it is and you like the colour have you thought about getting that matched in a traditional gloss paint? Saves all the hassle of trying to get a lacquer on and will also give a better finish

Dulux Trade Centres will mix for you.

I had it mixed at the trade centre with the paint code and description I gave them but it cost me £51 a tin and I really don’t have the money to do it all again 😭

I'm a fan of Fiddes products. A Company based in the City where I live but has been around for years.

They do a host of products and also sell on Amazon. I have used a clear lacquer on doors some years ago and was very pleased with the result. A nice gloss feel but not shiny at all.

Worth a Google, plus they do quite small size tins so that keeps the cost down.
