I'm in Florida...1st full day and I think I have tonsilitis. I can't swallow my throats all swollen and I'm so so cold its making me cry im that dizzy i can't walk and my legs ache to the point I can't touch them.

In tears what do I do? I'm at okw but oh has a car x

Oh dear, not nice. You have a Centra Care walk in centre literally a quarter of a mile from you.
Drive out of OKW and head for the Crossroads. Turn left and it's a 100 yards on your left.

Otherwise find the nearest Walgreens with a Pharmicist who can prescribe. Personally I would do Centra Care.

I hate to say it but it sounds like flu to me. The advantage of Centra Care is they will do your bloods and give a definitive answer and drugs (if needed) very quickly.

I feel your pain as I am just getting over tonsillitis [along with my 12 and 9 year olds..!]...

Doc wouldn't prescribe antibiotics as it was a viral thing rather than bacterial... so, paracetamol up and gargle some salt water a few times a day
I found hot water with lemon and honey really helped the throat...

They will give you a script which you can get made up at any CVS or Walgreens. One right by there.

This is America. You will be given medication and antibiotics. Right or wrong ref antibiotics thats what will happen.

We’ve twice been to Walgreens right by Disney springs, theres a clinic in that one. We went for an ear infection a couple of times and then last year an eye infection. The doctor there was lovely, you don’t need an appointment just turn up. Both times we went first thing in the morning and didn’t have to wait at all. Cost was approx $100 for the appointment and then approx $35 for the anti biotics. We just claimed it on our insurance when we got home.

ETA it’s the one on apopka Vineland road we went to. Make sure to take ID with you.
