Reserving Seaworld and Busch

Hi all.

Does anyone know if Seaworld and Busch are continuing their park reservations until the end of the year?

We are due to go in August but as yet haven't reserved our park days as we believed these parks would eventually open up as usual. But I'm now realising and seeing on this Forum that people are booking their August dates.

Is there an official confirmation that August will need to be booked in advance?

Thanks alot x

I didn't even know you had to reserve for these parks! Is this the same for Universal too? We are also going in Aug and so far I've only booked Disney...

Park reservations are recommended unless you have the DC Ultimate ticket, where they are not needed.
It makes a mockery in my eyes as they have no idea how many people with Ultimate tickets will be turning up!

True.

However, the number of DC Ultimate tickets is limited - I think I read that they only allow 1000 guests per day. And they'll know how many DC Ultimates have been booked for around that date. So they'll have a rough idea how many DC Ultimate ticket holders might turn up.

They can therefore adjust the number of non-DC Ultimate ticket holders that they allow to reserve their park.

It's not like they need an exact number - just as long as the total is roughly less than 35% (or whatever) of the maximum capacity, give or take 1000 people. And Seaworld has never reached the capacity limit anyway, so it's not really an issue. They could probably get away with doing what Universal does and not have a reservation system at all.

As it stands, yes you have to reserve any day to get in. We have booked days in October.

How long that will be the case, no one knows. Although I would imagine until they are allowed to open at old school full capacity.

Ive booked all our day so at Disney Sea World and Busch
Universal looks as though it’s going to be a crack of dawn start as it’s still a first come basis so we intend to do Universal the first couple of days when we are up at stupid o’clock

I didn’t know that seaworld and aquatics also had to be reserved. I’ve just been on their reservation system and it will only allow me to book 3 days but we have 14 day tickets

I would try again as I booked 6 days of reservations this morning but looks like I didn’t need to bother reading this thread as we have DC ultimate tickets😳🤪

Can you tell me where you’ve seen this please? I have the ultimate ticket and booked my reservations this morning not knowing this. However if I didn’t need to I don’t need to worry about 2 others getting the same days as they haven’t got tickets yet. Cheers

It's on the Seaworld Reservation webpage here:

seaworld/orlando/tickets/reservations-b/

There are some FAQs on that page and the very last one at the bottom of the page says:

"I am a guest with a Discovery Cove reservation that includes access to Aquatica, SeaWorld or Busch Gardens – how do I reserve my day at the other parks?

Discovery Cove offers various packages that include visits to SeaWorld & Aquatica, and/or Busch Gardens Tampa. Guests that have already purchased a Discovery Cove reservation that includes additional parks, do NOT have to make additional reservations for those parks. The guest can simply use their Discovery Cove reservation confirmation/admission voucher from the time of booking, or the barcode on their Discovery Cove lanyard and proceed directly to the turnstiles."
